Vision Survey has had a close relationship with London Heathrow and its various contractors since early 2007. Due to this relationship, we have been able to assist with many of the airport’s upgrades and expansions. With Heathrow securing government backing for its proposed expansion plan, the next few years will be crucial as the process moves forward. The prospect of a third runway, along with the expansion and redevelopment of the existing infrastructure will lead to 52 million more passengers and 267,000 more flight movements per year.
Vision is looking forward to continuing to support our clients with the inevitable increase of projects at the airport during this time. We are committed to developing and using innovative technologies, such as Vislock, our paperless permit system which is currently being trialed at the airport with plans to roll out the final product in 2019.
